NetVision ™ provides cost-effective transmission
of live video, data and audio across existing Ethernet networks.
With minimal setup, NetVision can be installed and used in minutes
in various applications. The only installation required is to
configure an IP address using a standard terminal program or any
Internet browser and to connect NetVision to the network. Sending
video and audio over computer networks yields significant savings
in reduced costs and simpler installation and management.
NetVision consists of two units: a transmitter and
a receiver – however, only the transmitter is required to use
NetVision. The transmitter can connect any NTSC or PAL video source
to the computer network. The receiver displays the video on a
standard NTSC or PAL monitor. Or, an internet browser can be used
to display the video on a PC. A bi-directional data interface
is availale for remote control of peripheral components (such
as pan/tilt/zoom cameras). Transmission of full duplex audio is
an option. Video sources (such as cameras) are identified by IP
addresses the same as any other equipment connected to a computer
network.
In summary, NetVision lets you use any existing
data network to transmit live video and audio. NetVision saves
installation costs (no separate cabling required), allows toll-free
operation (intranets), and saves management costs (single uniform
network).
